Portway P1 Contemporary Multi-Fuel Stove

The Portway P1 Contemporary is a stylish, British-made multifuel stove designed to provide efficient, clean-burning heat for modern homes. Suitable for burning both seasoned wood logs and authorised smokeless fuels, it is DEFRA approved for use in smoke control areas and meets the SIA Ecodesign Ready standard, making it an environmentally responsible choice.

With a 4.9kW nominal heat output, the P1 is ideal for heating standard-sized living rooms, while its 77.2% efficiency helps reduce fuel consumption and running costs. The stove features a durable steel body paired with a robust cast iron door and grate, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.

A large panoramic viewing window provides an impressive view of the flames, while the integrated airwash system helps keep the glass cleaner for longer. Its slim-depth design makes installation straightforward, particularly where space is limited.

For optimum combustion and reduced emissions, the Portway P1 incorporates primary, secondary, and tertiary air controls, delivering excellent fuel efficiency whether burning wood or smokeless coal. A generously sized removable ashpan makes cleaning quick and simple, and the stove accepts logs up to 250mm (10") in length.

The P1 can be customised with optional low or high legs, raising the stove to a comfortable viewing height and creating useful storage space beneath for logs. An optional direct air kit is also available for installations requiring an external air supply, although additional room ventilation is not normally necessary.
