Stuv 30 High Wood Burning Stove
On live display in a smaller size in our Southampton Showroom.
These stoves are built to order with a 4-6 week lead time.
The standard Stuv 30 wood burning stove was the first of it's type to feature Stuv's innovative turntable arrangement.
A handsome, cylindrical fire, the 30 looks great in any home. It has a wide area of glass that seems to magnify the flames within and a wide opening door to give great access to the fuelbed and ashes.
Behind that door is also the simple but fiendishly clever control to operate the turntable arrangement. Starting with the normal glass window, attach the easy-to-use handle and pull the body towards you. The blank plate appears that can be used either when the fire is unlit or to reduce the heat output. Turn it once more and the glass disappears to give you an open fire.
Available with this and the other stoves in the range (such as the 30-Compact and the 30-Up) is a barbecue attachment to cook sausages (or whatever takes your fancy) on the open fire setting.
Turning the cylinder one more time returns you to the glass-fronted mode.
Now, this fire can be used with either a top mounted or a rear mounted flue but the turntable will not work with the rear mounted flue.
To prevent interference with the normal airflows within the house, an external air kit can be specified with this fire.
The Stuv 30 stove has achieved several high standards, including being recognised by DEFRA as suitable for use in smoke control areas. This fire also was selected as Hearth and Home's Best Appliance in 2007.
Certain to be a timeless classic, the Stuv 30 is a stove we recommend and is on live display in our southampton showroom.
