Many houseowners are looking for a new fresh decor for their homes, to freshen up the style of the rooms. At the focal point of such an approach has to be the just the right fire.

More and more designers are making use of the dramatic styles offered by fireplace manufacturers -and one of the leaders in the market is Drugasar, usually simply known as DRU.

Take the suave Lugo 70/3, for example.

Using glass on three sides to ensure the best view of the dramatic and realistic 80 log fuelbed and the flames spouting forth, the 70/3 is frameless. This allows the fire to be installed in a false chimney breast or as a floating hearth with little disruption to the lines of the wall. The effect is made that much more dramatic.

The 44cm high glass is easily removed for maintenance through the use of a single screw on each side. This fire can suit either natural gas or LPG, if required, and is capable of use with DRU's own Powerflue system.

The Lugo comes with a easy-to-use remote control but can also be used with the intriguing new Eco Wave burner technology now offered by Dru.

The Eco Wave flames are controlled through the use of an app on iPad or Android tablets. This gives you the opportunity to monitor and alter the performance of your fire from the comfort of your armchair. There are 15 different flame settings with this app: it is also possible to save up to 50% of your energy use using this function.

But there is far more to this new technology. The user can be automatically updated as to any servicing or maintenance needs and these can even be programmed to alert an approved DRU dealer.

The DRU Lugo 70/3 can be specified with one of three interior trims: matt black, ribbed cast iron or mirrored Ceraglass.

This fire is about as modern as you can get.

If you like this fire but would like something a little wider, the Lugo 80/3 is also available. Also the Lugo 70/2 offers a two-sided version.

GUARANTEE

All DRU products meet the strictest quality requirements. Each fire or stove undergoes numerous meticulous tests before leaving the factory. The guarantee duration on model components is two years.

It may however arise that you experience a problem with your fire or stove. If this is the case please contact your dealer or installer: state your model's serial number; this is a ten digit number listed on the name plate. Your dealer or installer will try to resolve the problem.

When trying to resolve the problem your supplier may request advice or the subsequent delivery of components (under guarantee) from DRU. Should any problems arise the supplier can contact the DRU Service Desk. One of our engineers will come to your home to resolve the problem. If the model is still under guarantee and has been installed and used as per the guidelines, this service will naturally be free of charge.

DRU delivers components necessary for the functioning of the model up to 10 years after the termination of the last product range.
