Yeoman have a simple philosophy with regard to their electric stoves: take the solid steel and cast iron woodburning stove and place an electric engine in it. Bob’s your uncle, you have a great electric fire set in a classic stove.
So versatile is this philosophy that the Yeoman Dartmoor stove can be selected as a gas stove or, here, an electric version.
Using Yeoman’s own VeriFlame™ system, the electric Dartmoor stove produces a warm 2kW of heat and a bright flame display with low energy, long life LED bulbs. Using the standard remote control, the heat can be varied and the amazingly realistic log effect fire can be dimmed or brightened according to your need.
There are some options available on this fire. It can be specified with either a single or double door and, when double doors are selected, detachable Tudor Rose door crosses can also be purchased.
As with most electric stoves, installation is easy, requiring the use of a simple 13 amp socket and little else.
If you do happen to live somewhere cold (like Dartmoor) then a nice cosy electric stove like this may well be what you are after.
